ALL Area Trusted Servants are voted in every July by the Groups.  Nomination forms need to be submitted by May- June at the latest- so Groups can discuss them before voting.

Nominations for positions need to be submitted in person at the Area Meeting.

GSR - Group Service Representative (The GSR is an active member of an NA group and its representative at local service meetings. Groups and their members rely on their GSRs to stay connected with other groups in an NA community and to the rest of NA. ) 

ASC - Area Service Committee

ASC Trusted Servant  (Anyone serving as an Area Subcommittee Chair (PR, H&I, Activities, Outreach, Literature)

Ad Hoc (Temporary subcommittees set up for specific purposes and have limited lives. When they have finished their jobs, they are disbanded)

ASC Administrative Body (Area Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Vice Secretary, Treasurer, Vice Treasurer)

PR Public Relations (formerly Public Information)

H&I  Hospitals and Institutions 

RCM - Regional Committee Member (The purpose of the RCM is to interact with the Narcotics Anonymous service structure on the Regional level. They are the liaisons that participate in the flow of information between the Area and Regional service body. )

RD - Regional Delegate (serves as the primary contact between NA's World Services and the local NA community)

NAWS - Narcotics Anonymous World Service  (World services are those services that deal with the needs and challenges of NA as a whole and that NA offers to its members, its groups, and to society)

The World Service Conference (WSC) (where all of our world services come together to exchange ideas and have discussions. This happens every 3 years. It used to be every 2 years.)

World Service Office (WSO) (Carries out the directives of the World Service Conference in matters that relate to communications and information for the Fellowship of NA, its services, groups and members)

Conference Agenda Report (CAR)  (The CAR is a compilation of motions that have been brought before Narcotics Anonymous at the world level.) 

Conference Approval Track (CAT) (Items in the Conference Approval Track (CAT) are considered new business at the World Service Conference. That means participants have an opportunity for discussions during the Conference week before making any decisions on these items.)
